CLEVELAND, Mississippi – Funeral services for Yvonne Townsend, 66, of Cleveland, who died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024, were held Jan. 13, 2024, 11 a.m. at United Baptist Church, Cleveland, with Rev. James Hall officiating. Visitation was Jan. 12, 2024, at Byas Funeral Home, Cleveland, 4-6 p.m. under the direction of Byas Funeral Home.
Survivors include sons Thaxter and Kendrick Townsend, daughters Cheryl and Chakendria Townsend, Chaka Townsend Parham, brothers Bobby, L.T. and Fred Townsend, sisters Florida Matthews, Matilda Green, Deborah Gibbs, Patricia Porter, and Brenda Carter.
