SHELBY, Mississippi – Funeral services for Velma Simmons, 83, of Shelby, will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Community Chapel in Shelby. Visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Byas Funeral Home, Shelby, followed by a family hour from 5 to 6 p.m.
