On April 23, 2025, at approximately 12:39 p.m., Greenville police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of East Reed Road.
Witnesses told officers that a Black male had been shooting from a stairwell at one of the apartments, causing damage to a window at nearby Washington School.
