The Washington School Generals played their first home football game of the season beating Delta Streets 40-6.
Head Coach Todd Lott said, “Very pleased to get a win. Our players deserved it. A lot of effort was put in over the summer and at camp. Pleased for them and our coaches. Nice for the program to get a win.”
This year the Generals have a new quarterback, senior Patrick Spencer. Spencer scored three times during the game, two of them he ran for seven yards and another where he ran for five yards. Fred Nailer, who moved from quarterback to wide receiver this year, scored on a 15 yard pass from Spencer. Aidan Jones and Ty Signa both scored as well. Signa ran for 28 yards and Jones ran for 10 yards.
The Generals host Bayou Academy at home next Friday starting at 7p.m.
