Greenville High School senior Errick Simmons Jr. has been added to the roster for the 2019 Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game. The game kicks off at noon this Saturday in Hattiesburg.
Simmons, the Delta Democrat-Times’ Offensive Player of the Year, was a playmaker all season long for the Greenville High School football team.
Simmons led his Class 6A District in both receiving yards and total touchdowns this season. Simmons caught 51 catches this season for 1,074 yards and 11 touchdowns.Simmons was excellent on special teams as well, returning kickoffs for more than 500 yards this season to help him finish the season with 1,931 yards.
Alabama leads Mississippi in the all-time series 22-8 but seeks its first win in the game since 2016.
