October 6, 2025 – St. Joseph Catholic School is pleased to announce the appointment of Robin Alane Perry as Interim Principal effective October 13, 2025. Perry brings more than 30 years of experience in Catholic education as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and accreditation leader.
Perry has led schools at every level, from elementary through high school, and has also guided Catholic education on a diocesan and state level. She served as Associate Director of Accreditation for the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department, where she supported the vision and standards for more than 250 Catholic schools across the state. She also served as Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Tyler and principal of Bishop T.K. Gorman Catholic School.
Throughout her career, Perry has been recognized for strengthening Catholic identity, enhancing academic programs, and building community support. She has successfully secured major grants and advanced fundraising initiatives to expand student opportunities, improve facilities, and sustain school growth.
“I am honored to serve the St. Joseph community,” said Perry. “This school has a proud tradition and a vital mission. My focus is to ensure that every student—Catholic and non-Catholic alike—experiences formation in faith and virtue, academic excellence, and the character-building opportunities that prepare them for lifelong success. I am grateful to Craig Mandolini for his many years of service to St. Joseph and wish him and his family the very best as he begins his new career. I look forward to partnering with our parents, faculty, and parish to strengthen the academic excellence and faith traditions that make St. Joe such a special place.”
Perry is currently completing her doctorate in Catholic Educational Leadership at Saint Louis University, building on her long career of leadership in Catholic schools.
As Interim Principal, she will guide the school through the 2025–2026 academic year while the search for a permanent principal begins.
