On Feb. 2, 2025, at around 9:15 p.m., officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 738 West Union Street in reference to reports of heavy gunfire in the area. When police arrived on the scene, they found a male lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
