As the catcher of the Simmons High School baseball team, Javonte White’s job is to not just make his pitchers look good but also the rest of his teammates.
White’s first job, he said, is to help keep his pitchers confident. White, the Planters Bank Player of the Week, wants to keep them loose, focused and feeling good about themselves.
