The City of Greenville is heading into a new year and a new fiscally minded approach when it comes to property insurance.
During a special called meeting Thursday, the Greenville city council voted unanimously to approve SouthGroup Insurance Company’s bid for the city’s property insurance coverage up to a year at the cost of $705,000.
