More unofficial totals from Tuesday’s mid-Term election were reported Thursday as affidavit ballots are still being tabulated.
Incumbent Bennie Thompson-(D) led by a wide margin with 5,966 out of 7,770 total votes for the 2nd Congressional District seat. Opponent Brian Flowers-(R) had a total of 2,710 votes.
