The Delta Blues and Heritage Festival will once again be the beneficiary of tax payer dollars to continue what is believed to be the oldest blues festival in the nation.
The board, in a 3-2 vote, agreed to make what they labeled as an in-kind donation of $25,000 to festival organizers. The original request was for $30,000.
