The Department of Defense just released a new report to Congress: There are no aliens.
By aliens, I don’t mean illegal immigrants. I mean alien aliens. As in, from another planet.
I hate to disappoint all you Star Wars fans, but there is no cool intergalactic bar with dozens of weird intelligent life forms from different planets.

MDOT Has a $1.2 billion dollar budget, two-thirds of that federal money, but it’s not enough.
Most of the state money comes from the gas tax. Only Alaska has a lower gas tax than Mississippi. That’s the problem. The gas tax hasn’t been raised since 1989, 35 years ago. What a dollar would buy in 1989 would take $2.55 today.

Opinion: Why is India so poor and U.S. so rich?

Since I’ve been back from my 17-day trip to India, one question keeps rolling around in my brain: How can the U. S. be so much richer than India?
The International Monetary Fund states the 2023 U. S. per capita GDP at $80,412. India is $2,612. For comparison, Mexico is $13,804.
