The Leland High School boys basketball team is a young but talented squad with high expectations this season under second-year head coach Kelsey Herman. Leland Cubs are laying strong foundation

LELAND — Kelsey Herman is building his program from the ground up.
Herman, now in his second season leading the Leland High School boys basketball team team, started his program last year with a foundation of six freshmen. Now, those freshmen, like his entire program, is started to blossom right before his eyes.

Greenville Christian Lady Saints building early momentum

The Greenville Christian School girls basketball is building momentum heading into the Christmas holiday.
The Lady Saints had its best game game of the season, said head coach Brother Sandifer, in their 44-34 victory over Riverfield Academy on Saturday.
