Riverside Lady Bulldogs positively winning under Coach Rodgers

Under new coach Will Rodgers, the Riverside High School softball team has seen plenty of success this season. The Lady Bulldogs have a 7-5 record and are a perfect 4-0 in District 3-2A.
The team’s success, said Coach Rodgers, is due to the hard work ethic of each and every one of his players.

O’Bannon High School’s Lekeidric Sutton, the Planters Bank Player of the Week, had the game-winning hit last Friday in his team’s one-run victory over Strayhorn High School.
Sutton laced the ball to the gap in right field. He credits his coach for teaching him how to hit the right way.
