The Greenville Isshinryu Karate Club awarded four of its newest members their first rank on Tuesday
at the Elywn Ward Recreation Center.
Karate members Molly Mabry, 8, Annalise Farmer, 9, Derrick Simmons Jr., 8, and Bobbie Lemonds, 47, all received a certificate to go along with their newly acquired green stripe.

St. Joseph girls celebrate Senior Night with victory

It was senior night Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic School, and Tykira Rancifer had just fouled out in the fourth quarter. While she may have been disappointed to be out of the game, she never showed it. She was on the bench, laughing, jumping and encouraging her teammates as St. Joe went on to defeat Indianola Academy 31-25.
