Greenville tennis camp begins on Monday

Long time Greenville tennis teacher Birlette Jelks will once again being holding a summer tennis camp for youngsters throughout the area. The camp, which starts Monday, is for ages from 6 to 18 and will be held at Wards Recreation Center. It is open to players of all skill sets, from beginners to intermediate players.

Greenville’s 29th Future Tour Championship swings to another rousing success

For the 29th straight year, the Greenville Golf and Country Club brought many of the top junior golfers to its course this past weekend to compete in the Future Tour Championship.
In all, 168 youngsters from all across the Southeastern United States competed in this year’s tournament.
