Tidal surge: O'Bannon Greenwaves defeat rival Greenville Hornets

In front of a packed home gymnasium, the O’Bannon High School boys basketball team defeated Greenville High School 77-68 Saturday night. It was the first victory for the Greenwaves over the Hornets since 2019, and O’Bannon head coach Torrione Carter said the victory over their crosstown rival means even more than just bragging rights.

St. Joseph Fighting Irish defeat Carroll Academy, move to 6-0

The St. Joseph Catholic School basketball team remained undefeated Tuesday night with a convincing 79-53 road victory over Carroll Academy.
Jerrian ‘Stank’ King led the Irish with 26 points. CJ Moore scored 14 points and Donnie Smith added 11 points for the Fighting Irish who moved their record to 6-0 this season.
