The Western Line School District made it official Wednesday when it named Will Rodgers as the new head football coach at Riverside High School. Rodgers was an assistant coach on this year’s Riverside team, and he became the interim head coach of the Bulldogs for the last seven games of the season when former coach Tavares Johnson Jr.

Honeybees fly away from O’Bannon

After his Honeybees defeated O’Bannon High School 54-11 Saturday night, Greenville High School girls basketball coach Dakedreon Lampkin wasn’t basking in celebration. He said championships are not won in November, and his team is just trying to get better for when the district season starts in January.
