For many, many years the Presbyterian Church in Port Gibson, Mississippi has been famous for its spire. Anyone who has traveled Highway 61 that far south of Vicksburg, is bound to have seen the hand which is mounted upon the tip-top of the church steeple, with the index finger pointing ever upward.
