Mississippi State, needing a win after two straight losses, pulled out a victory over their in-state rivals, 84-81. The Bulldogs built a 14-point lead early in Saturday’s contest before Ole Miss scrapped back to send game to overtime.
In the grand scheme of things, the week was a win for both teams.
