Wilson Thomas "Tommy" Gray, 78, of Shelbyville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025.
Born in Greenwood, Mississippi, in 1946, Tommy was known for his kindness, devotion to his family and friends and love of golf. He spent much of his life making a positive impact on those around him through his hard work, humor, and love. Tommy’s dedication to his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he will be remembered as a man who always put others first. He enjoyed his job as a salesman for Detco Industries, where he considered his customers to be friends.
Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Dinah "Sissy" Dubose Gray, three daughters: Amy Gray Baudoin and husband Tracy of Gray, LA, Karla Gray of Gray, LA, and Tami Michelle Jewell and husband Buddy of Christiana, TN. He is also survived by his grandchildren: John Baudoin, Sister Maddalena Marie, PCPA (Emily Baudoin), Deborah "Debbie" Baudoin, Danielle Baudoin, and Phoenix Jewell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Laura Mae Gray, and his sister, Wanda Gray Dillingham.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, 11:00am at Miller Cemetery in Christiana, Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, 2:00pm at Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Mississippi. All are welcome.
Tommy’s memory will live on in the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
