The Washington County Congress of Christian Education, an auxiliary of the Washington County Baptist Association, is kicking off its Abbreviated Annual Session tonight at Greater Hinds St. MB Church, 448 N. Hinds St.
Sessions will be held 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. nightly, Wednesday through Friday.
This year’s theme is Re-Engagement by: Re-Membering, Re-Flecting and Re-Connecting.
The registration fee for churches and associations with 10 delegates is $200.
Registration costs $10 for individuals.
Rev. Reginald M. Buckley, GMBSC president elect, is the special guest for Friday’s session which will be preceded by a reception from 5 to 6 p.m.
Rev. Thomas Morris Sr. is Washington County Baptist Association president, Marie Ford, dean and Dr. Albert Calvin Jr., moderator.
