Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Lloyd Fordice of Vicksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Helen Frances Fordice, to Nathan Taylor Noble, son of Mrs. Edwin Randolph Noble Jr. and the late Mr. Edwin Randolph Noble Jr. of Oxford and Greenville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Governor of Mississippi, the Hon. Daniel Kirkwood Fordice Jr. and the late First Lady of Mississippi Patricia Owens Fordice of Jackson, and the late Maj. Gen. and Mrs. William Edgar Read of Morganton, North Carolina.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Randolph Noble of Lorman, and Mrs. John Ivy Galatas Jr., and the late Mr. John Ivy Galatas Jr. of Greenville.
Miss Fordice is a 2012 graduate of St Aloysius High School in Vicksburg and the University of Mississippi Patterson School of Accountancy where she earned a Bachelor of Accountancy in 2016 and Master of Accountancy in 2017. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and an avid volunteer at the Oxford Animal Shelter. In 2013 she was presented by the Debutante Club of Mississippi. Miss Fordice resides in Dexter, Missouri where she is a CPA with REA Investments.
Mr. Noble is a 2012 graduate of Washington School in Greenville and the University of Mississippi Business School where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Managerial Finance in 2016 and a Master of Business Administration in 2017. A four-year letterman, he was the kicker on the Ole Miss football team and a member of Kappa Alpha Order Fraternity. Mr. Noble resides in Dexter, Missouri, where he is a project manager with Sixty-West.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. July 31 at Lost Creek Ranch in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Rev. Geoffrey Joyner, former pastor of Crawford Street Methodist Church, will officiate.
