Mr. and Mrs. James K. Richards, of Boca Raton, Florida, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Kimberly Richards, to Peyton Lynn Childs.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ms. Dolores A. Crowe, of Monroe, Georgia, Mr. Barry W. Stofan, of Southern Pines, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Richards, of Port Charlotte, Florida.
She is a 2016 honors graduate of Starr’s Mill High School, of Fayetteville, Georgia. She will graduate in April 2020 from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.
The bride-groom elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Trey Childs, of Chatham, Mississippi. He is the grandson of Mr. David L. Stokes and the late Judy B. Stokes, of Chatham, Morris L. Childs Jr., of Greenville, Mississippi, and Deborah L. Garrett, of Vaiden, Mississippi.
He is a 2015 honors graduate of Washington School. He is also a 2019 graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science. He is currently enrolled at Mississippi College pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
The couple will exchange vows May 9, 2020, in Boca Raton, Florida.
