Here’s the results from our fourth MRAA 2023/24 Winter Trail Tournament at Bee Lake last Saturday January 6th. Twenty-six boats fishing in the tournament. The weather was very cold and cloudy all day, and fishing ended up being very-very slow.
Out of our 26 boats fishing, only 7 boats managed to bring in a bass, with only one boat bringing in 2 bass. No limits were weighed in.
First place went to the team of Todd Lott and Jim Goodman. Todd and Jim's 2-bass weighed 3.42 lbs.
Coming in second place was the father and son team of Eric and Patrick Thompson. Eric and Patrick's 1-bass weighed 3.31 lbs. which was also the tournament lunker.
Coming in third place was Chris Coy and Rudy Vanderford. Chris and Rudy's 1-bass weighed 2.93 lbs.
There was a tie for fourth place between Bill McRight Sr. and Bill McRight Jr. and Tim McDaniel and myself. Both of our bass weighed 2.41 lbs.
Coming in fifth place and getting the last check was the team of Mike Loflin and David Myers. Their 1-bass weighed 2.29 lbs.
