ARCOLA — The Deer Creek School football team’s offense clicked on all cylinders as the Warriors blasted visiting Union Christian (La.) 56-28.
“We were a lot bigger and stronger than they were, so we basically just lined it donw their throat,” Deer Creek School coach Benny McLendon said.
Offensive stars for Deer Creek (3-4) on the night included Bo Ray, Clayton Kilgore and Zeb Wooley, who each scored a touchdown.
“We had a pretty tough schedule to start the season, but now we are playing some teams that are more like we are,” Coach McLendon said. “We now have a chance to win a few more games going forward.”
Union Christian’s record dropped to 0-7.
