The family of 16-year-old Keldrick Wooten was recognized at Tuesday’s Greenville City Council after more than $4,000 was raised from a boot drive held Saturday to benefit Wooten, who suffered a gunshot wound to head months ago. The boot drive was sponsored by the Greenville Fire Department, Councilwoman Lurann Thomas-Kingdom and Councilman Bill Brozovich.
