Parker Carlisle, a senior at Washington School, has always had an ear and a talent for music. He began playing the trumpet when he was in the sixth grade. On Tuesday, Carlisle’s years of training on the instrument reached a joyful note as he signed a scholarship Tuesday to join the Ole Miss marching band.
