Shaw native Herman Sanders, who spent 34 years coaching young athletes in Mississippi, has been named the recipient of the 2022 National High School Athletic Association’s Distinguished Service Award.
The award is given to someone who has gone above and beyond to help the coaches of the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC).
