Kenzavius Lundy shines in Simmons victory

With starting tailbacks Prentavis Madison and Eddie George out with injuries, Simmons junior Kenzavius Lundy filled in brilliantly in the Blue Devils’ 60-8 victory over Shaw last Thursday.
Lundy finished the game with 176 yards on four carries and three touchdowns. He also scored five two-point conversions.

In midst of gauntlet, O'Bannon has high hopes

The O’Bannon High School football team is in the middle of a three-game gauntlet (North Side, Charleston and Lelfore County) that head coach Lynn Lang knew wasn’t going to be easy. But, there is light for the Green Wave (4-3) at the end of the tunnel. If they win just one of their final two games, they will qualify for the MHSAA playoffs.
