AVON — Just in the nick of time freshman Cameron Massey crawled to third base with his glove touching the bag right before the Indianola Academy runner. Massey’s fine play was the last out for Riverside in the team’s 7-4 victory Wednesday in the championship game in the Bulldog Bash.

SHELBY —The Riverside boys basketball team soundly punched its ticket into the Region 3-2A Tournament championship game with a 72-48 victory over O’Bannon Thursday night in the semifinals at North Side High School. Riverside advances to Friday night’s championship game where it will face North Side at 8:30 p.m.
